Stoney : Stoney was a dog fostered by Northwest Samoyed Rescue. We don't know about his previous life, but something in it made him afraid of everything he encountered. He was put in foster in a home with no other animals because he couldn't get along with other dogs. Unfortunately he bit a neighbor. We remember Stoney as a dog who could have been so much more if he hadn't been treated so badly early in life.

Sierra & Cody : Sierra and Cody came from eastern Oregon, where Animal Control turned them over to rescue after their owner went to jail. Pictures in chronological order starting with the oldest. They have both been groomed and had baths, and now they are learning what it's like to live indoors with a family. Sierra is getting more active and Cody is not as timid as he was. Both of them are starved for attention and love any human touch. UPDATE: Brad and Dan came to visit and the dogs thought they were wonderful. Cody and Sierra are now living in the Renton area.

Honey : Honey was found in the Tri-Cities area as a stray with another dog we think is her daughter (Rio is listed here). Some time recently, probably while she was loose, she lost one foot in an accident. Her leg didn't heal correctly and she recently had surgery to amputate it properly and make it more comfortable. Katie : Katie was rescued from a Seattle shelter, and had a litter of three puppies just before her spay appointment. She has recovered, the puppies were placed in homes, and she is ready for adoption. Look at the difference in these before and after pictures! She shed almost all her coat after whelping (which is normal), and some of these pictures show that. She has re-grown her coat now and all allergies and scratching are a thing of the past. Tramp : Tramp was one of our absolute favorite dogs. He was a moose of a dog, and every inch was friendly. We have great memories of his big happy face at all the rescue picnics, walking along browsing the table with the food. He was the only dog who could look down at the table. Tramp's last appearance was at the 2006 rescue parade, and 10 days later he was lost to bloat.
